How are our candles made?

We thoughtfully source all of our ingredients to create candles that are sustainable, cruelty-free, phthalate-free.

All of our candles are made from natural, organic coconut wax blend, and a cotton core wick. Our candle products are made using a blend of fine fragrance oils that consist of natural and man-made materials.

Each candle is hand poured with love and imbued reiki energy right here in Los Angeles, the City of Angels.

How do I use my candle?

Each candle is accompanied by a note card which contains instructions on how best to harness your candle’s energy when lighting it.

We recommend listening to your accompanying Soundbath, as you will receive guided instructions on setting your intentions and lighting your candle for the first time.

After the initial lighting meditation, your intention has been set for your candle. However, if you wish, you may use the lighting meditation multiple times. Your meditation expires 40 days after your purchase.

With every light of your candle thereafter, think about your intention while enjoying the beautiful hand blended fragrance and the powerful Reiki energy as it fills your space.

What is Reiki and how are the candles Reiki charged?

Reiki is an ancient form of energy healing. Ambi is a certified Reiki Master and has performed thousands of hours of Reiki over the years, in private sessions and group settings, with people, places and objects. As part of our candle making process Ambi reiki charges each candle. She also infuses reiki into each Soundbath which accompanies each of our candles.

How do I clean my silver lid?

Clean you silver Alchemy Store lids with a soft damp cloth and wipe dry. You may also wipe clean with an Isopropyl alcohol pad and allow to fully air dry. Never put your lids in the dishwasher.

After use, your lids can be recycled as coasters.


What is a Soundbath?

A Soundbath is a meditation which is created using the sounds and vibrations of many different instruments including gongs, crystal bowls and chimes.

We designed one off immersive Soundbaths to accompany each candle, curating the instruments carefully to help harness the unique energy and intention of each candle to maximum effect.

How do I access the Soundbath for my candle?
A: Upon purchasing your candle you will receive an email with clear instructions on how to access and stream your Soundbath. Please email ask@thealchemystore.com if you need further assistance.
How do I use the Soundbath?
Each of our Soundbaths provides the listener with a step by step audio guide. All you simply need to do is find a safe, comfortable space, free from distractions, listen and follow the instructions.
How do I access the Soundbath for my candle?
When you purchase your candle you will receive an email with instructions and a link for the specific Soundbath for your chosen candle. Please use this link to access and stream your Soundbath.

We recommend listening to the Soundbath with headphones as this allows it to be heard in a manner which maximizes the audio and that can make you feel as though you are experiencing the Soundbath live.

Is there an expiration date/limit to the use of my Soundbath?
Each of our Soundbaths has been specifically curated to accompany a particular candle with the intention that they are to be used together. Upon the Candle being fully burnt, the Soundbath has served its purpose.

If you are to go on and purchase another Alchemy Store candle, you will receive a new Immersive Soundbath link to the specific candle that you have just purchased.

Each Soundbath expires 30 days after you register your candle?

How do Soundbaths help me meditate?
Sound has been used as a tool for healing since the beginning of time as our brain waves are impacted by certain sound frequencies.

Our Soundbaths are created intentionally to harness the sounds and vibrations of a curated selection of instruments to essentially help tune the brainwaves to specific frequencies, helping to achieve desired states of mind.

When you listen to one of our Soundbaths the sounds and vibrations can help your brainwaves slow down, meaning you will drop more quickly into a deeper meditative state.

In addition, your Soundbath meditation can have a specific impact upon your brainwaves according to your intention or energy of the candle you purchased.

Why does each candle have a different Soundbath?
Each of our candles has a specific intention and unique energy, therefore we created a unique Soundbath to pair with each candle which best energetically facilitates that candle’s intention/purpose.

Orders, Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

Can I change or cancel my order?

You may change or cancel any order so long as it hasn’t shipped. If you are yet to receive your shipment confirmation email and would like to change or cancel your order, please contact us at ask@thealchemystore.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Where do you ship?
We can ship to virtually any address in the world.


Orders are typically processed within 2 business days. If you select expedited shipping during check-out this will not affect processing time, but will speed up delivery. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use.

International Shipping:

International packages may be subject to customs fees, duties, and taxes which are not included in our shipping rates and are the customer's responsibility to cover.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal. However we do not accept cash, check, Venmo, Bitcoin, or money orders.
Can I return or exchange my Alchemy Store items?
We take pride in our products and work tirelessly to produce quality Alchemy Store products. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and within 30 business days of receipt. We will be more than happy to assist you. Returns are accepted within 30 business days for a full refund or exchange of your product and must be accompanied by the original packaging. We do not accept returns or exchanges on candles that have been opened, used or altered. Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges on final sale items. For any questions regarding returns, please email us at ask@thealchemystore.com.

As a small business we are not able to cover shipping costs of your return unless there was a shipping error made by us, but are always happy to ship exchanges at no extra charge. Exchanges or returns must be made within 30 days of delivery and require proof of purchase (e.g. your Alchemy Store order number, order confirmation email. Refunds cover the cost of the item returned and do not include shipping fees.

We reserve the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not comply with the conditions stated above. If your package is not accepted, it will be sent back to you at your expense and a refund will not be granted. Items that appear used or worn upon inspection are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Internationally Place Orders:

We are currently unable to offer exchanges on international orders. If you’d like to return your order for a refund, please note shipping costs for international returns are the customer’s responsibility.
